I had the honour of designing the built and graphic elements for Gada Jane’s one-woman show Becoming Psychic. The work brought together digital projection and graphic storytelling to create an visual environment that accompanied the narrative.
The set design existed primarily through moving projections that were subtle, atmospheric, and responsive. They were created to support rather than overwhelm the performance. These visual enhanced the emotional and psychological arc of the piece, balancing skepticism, doubt and spiritual awakening.

Following its debut at Kitchener Femme Folks Fest, the show toured internationally, with performances at fringe festivals in New York City, Montreal, and Boston.

The design aimed to elevate the show’s central tension. Is the character losing her mind? Or is she, in fact, psychic?
